100 Push-Ups

(I'm not posting a "before" picture of my arms right now because I'm embarrassed, so here's a recent pic of me & Isis - you can see my arm.)

I'm a wimp. I'll be the first to admit it. I also hate working out. Livy at Making Over Mum posted on the Oh Baby! forum yesterday about how she's going to do a push-ups fitness challenge. It seemed pretty easy & not really time consuming. Plus I'm all for things that connect me with other bloggers & give me some motivation to actually do something!

So I'm in.

Today...I can do a big whopping 0 push-ups. I'm going to have to start with the girly ones. I'm starting today with the first column of the Week 1 guide. We'll see how this goes.

Want to join in too?

Yay for joining me! I did the first workout and I must say that the first column was too easy using girly pushups. I decided I'd better redo the initial test using the modified pushups and follow the training regimen for that new one.

I don't know if you'll find the same thing or not, but just thought I'd let you know.

Good luck!

thanks for sharing this! I can do NO "regular" pushups at all.
I'm headed to check it out!

Modified Push Ups -As I read your blog post, I couldn’t help but think of the Push Up Bench as the most effective way for people who struggle with push ups , to be able to do them correctly (with full range of motion). Most modified push ups make them easier but only allow one or two variations. The Push Up Bench has 11 different levels to work through on the way to a full push up.
